Automotive example: Engine power measurement

A new automotive measurement example about measuring the engine power of a car is available. The measurement is performed using just an oscillsocope and accelerometer.

To measure the power output of an engine, it used to be necessary to put a car on a dyno. Such specialized equipment is expensive and not commonly available. With the Accelerometer TP-ACC20 and an Automotive Test Scope ATS5004D, the engine power can be measured without the use of other equipment. The new measurement example describes the necessary steps to perform such a power measurement and shows the results.
